Description:
The advantages of cross-drilled/slotted rotors is the slots continuously clean and refresh the pad surface and prevent gasses from collecting between the pad and disc surface. The cross-drilled holes improve ventilation, increasing the disc's ability to shed heat resulting in cooler operating temperatures.
The ceramic brake pads are approximately 10% larger than the stock pads but still fit in the stock calipers. The pads are made from a ceramic material for almost dustless braking and superior fade resistance. Combined with a good pedal feel, they work well when cold and up to a higher temperature than stock pads. Each pad has an anti-squeal shim glued to the back of the pad for quiet braking. Both made by TRW, an OEM supplier to many car companies including Mercedes, Audi, Volvo, Suzuki, General Motors, Ford, Nissan and Toyota.
Note that the rotor boxes are marked left and right.
